Tiny Emulators: A Browser-Based Museum of 8-Bit Machines and Demos

The tiny8bit project (by developer Andre “floooh” Weissflog) is a collection of compact, cycle-accurate emulators for 1980s home computers and arcade hardware, compiled to WebAssembly so they run directly in a browser with no install. The lineup spans Western staples like the Amstrad CPC464/6128, ZX Spectrum 48k/128, Commodore C64 and VIC-20, and the Acorn Atom, alongside East German machines rarely seen in emulator projects: the Robotron Z1013/Z9001/KC87 and the KC85/2/3/4 series. Several builds ship a debugger UI exposing CPU state, memory, and video internals — useful for anyone studying the underlying 6502 and Z80 silicon, which also get standalone “Visual Remix” transistor-level views.
