RavynOS: A FreeBSD-Based Open Source OS Chasing the macOS Experience

RavynOS is a pre-alpha open-source operating system that layers a macOS-style user experience on top of Darwin, FreeBSD, and Apple’s own open-source components. The project’s pitch is familiarity: a global menu bar that separates app commands from window content, standard Command-key shortcuts across the whole system, and drag-to-Applications installs that skip installers and registries entirely.
