OpenAI Withdraws 3 Math Papers Due to Sign Error

OpenAI has retracted three mathematics papers due to a sign error that invalidates a key argument in the primary paper and affects two dependent works. The withdrawn papers now include notices explaining the issue and links to the archived versions. Additionally, OpenAI has revised 14 other manuscripts with various corrections, including proof repairs, clarified hypotheses, and updated citations. These changes also necessitated updates to 13 additional manuscripts to reflect the revised editions of companion papers. Furthermore, OpenAI has added six new formalizations and five other additions, increasing the percentage of top-line results formalized to approximately 42%.
