Nepal Becomes 47th Government to Join Have I Been Pwned's Free Gov Service

Nepal’s National Cyber Security Centre has been onboarded to Have I Been Pwned’s free government tier, making it the 47th national body with access to the service. The NCSC can now monitor its government domains against HIBP’s breach corpus, flagging when official email addresses surface in newly disclosed data leaks.

The capability is aimed squarely at incident response: rather than learning about compromised credentials after attackers exploit them, national cyber teams get early visibility into which government accounts have been exposed and can act before the credentials are weaponized. HIBP built the government offering specifically to give state security teams this kind of domain-wide monitoring at no cost.

The onboarding continues HIBP’s steady expansion into public-sector defense, adding another national team to a roster that treats breached-credential intelligence as a baseline input for protecting government departments and public services.
