Mysterious Math Genius 'Cleo' Revealed as Software Developer

A pseudonymous figure known as Cleo gained notoriety for solving complex mathematical integration problems with remarkable speed and accuracy on Math Stack Exchange. The account, active between 2013 and 2015, posted 39 answers without explaining methodologies, sparking debates about whether Cleo was a lone genius or a collective. The account claimed to have a medical condition limiting interaction. Investigations by online sleuths and a YouTuber eventually linked Cleo to Vladimir Reshetnikov, an Uzbekistani-American software developer. Reshetnikov confirmed he created the Cleo persona to generate interest in mathematical problems that received little attention on the forum.
