Microsoft is adding support for third-party deepfake detection tools and impersonation protection in Teams meetings. Scheduled for November, these features will allow organizations to integrate certified solutions for detecting synthetic audio and video, with Teams surfacing warnings and risk indicators for potential impersonation attempts. The updates are part of a broader effort to enhance meeting security, following recent additions such as locking external users, blurring QR codes, and blocking external bots from meetings.
