Apple TV 4K Gets AI Boost, Surround Sound Upgrade

Apple has unveiled a new version of its Apple TV 4K, featuring Siri AI for a more conversational and immersive home theater experience. The device includes far-field microphones for hands-free control, faster performance with the A19 chip, and enhanced smart home management capabilities through the Home app. When paired with four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers, it offers the most immersive surround sound setup Apple has ever provided. The new Apple TV 4K also prioritizes privacy and security with Secure Exclaves and Private Cloud Compute for processing Siri requests. Pre-orders start today, with availability beginning November 13.
