Apple Launches Pass Designer for Wallet Customization

Apple has introduced Pass Designer, a tool for creating and previewing custom passes for Apple Wallet. The tool supports various pass types, from fitness centers to airlines, and allows users to start with Apple’s templates or their own designs. Pass Designer provides real-time previews that match iOS and watchOS rendering, ensuring accuracy. It includes features like color adjustments, adaptable layouts, standard fields for information display, and validation for missing key values. For boarding passes and event tickets, semantic tags add structured data to enable features like Siri Suggestions and Maps directions. The beta version is available for macOS 14 or later.
