Antigravity's TOS lets Google ban your entire account for third-party use

Google’s Antigravity carries terms of service stating that if Google suspects the tool is being used in ways it deems unauthorized third-party usage — for example, routing it through a client like OpenClaw — it can suspend the offending user’s entire Google account, not just their access to the product. Engineer Gergely Orosz flagged this as a reason to avoid Antigravity altogether, saying he isn’t willing to take the risk.

The core concern is the blast radius of the penalty. Getting banned by OpenAI or Anthropic is an inconvenience confined to that vendor, but a Google account suspension can cascade across Gmail, Drive, Photos, and every other service tied to the same identity — a potentially catastrophic loss for anyone who relies on Google as their primary digital hub. That coupling turns a terms-of-service violation over AI tooling into an existential threat to a user’s broader online life.

The warning underscores a wider tension in how AI subscriptions are governed: providers increasingly restrict usage to their own official surfaces, and tying enforcement to a user’s central account concentrates enormous leverage in the vendor’s hands.
