95 Arrested in Global CSAM Crackdown

Law enforcement from 17 countries collaborated in an INTERPOL-led operation targeting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on messaging platforms. Over four operations between March and September 2026, 95 suspects were arrested, 127 search warrants were executed, and a five-year-old victim was rescued. Investigators found extensive CSAM in Ecuador and Panama, and a suspect in Argentina was accused of sextorting minors. INTERPOL emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation to prevent the continued victimization of children through the recirculation of abuse content.
